On May 7, 2018, the Child Mind Institute hosted its fourth annual Change Maker Awards honoring individuals and organizations that are making positive change in children’s mental health and raising awareness of the need for early intervention to help kids lead healthy lives.

Recently, Leo R. Walker, President & Treasurer of HIKE For Mental Health, visited the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (BBRF) offices to present a check for $41,000 to the Foundation and its President & CEO, Jeffrey Borenstein, M.D.

In 2017, the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation awarded $1.7 million in Distinguished Investigator Grants to 17 scientists, who are full professors or the equivalent, conducting innovative projects in diverse areas of neurobiological and behavioral research.
