As a child and adolescent psychiatrist and physician-scientist, Dorothy Grice has committed her career to optimizing treatment and interventions for pediatric psychiatric disorders, through a focus on clinical care, education and training, and research. She is recognized as a master clinician with expertise in diagnosing and treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Tourette syndrome and related disorders. Dr. Grice’s research program focuses on the risk architecture of OCD and Tourette syndrome with particular focus on the genetic underpinnings of these disorders. Dr. Grice has taken a molecular approach towards understanding psychiatric illnesses since she began her career, and her work has provided important insights into the understanding the genetics of OCD and Tourette syndrome.
