Davidson, Ph.D., Vilas Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry and Founder of the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Davidson spoke on several panels in an effort to promote his belief that health and happiness are skills that can be developed and have a profound effect on not only a personal level, but a professional level as well.

Dr. Davidson also spoke to world leaders about themes like how technology is rewiring the brain, what science reveals about what it takes to become a true leader and why meditation matters so much. “Every session in which I’ve been involved has been standing-room-only,” he reported in the interview with Roy Sekoff from the Huffington Post.
The theme of this year’s Forum was “The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business,” with the aim of developing the insights, initiatives and actions necessary to respond to current and emerging challenges around the world. In attendance were hundreds of well-known individuals from around the world including Tony Abbott, Prime Minister of Australia; Anat Admati, Professor at Stanford Graduate School of Business; Francis Collins, Director of the National Institutes of Health; and Bill Gates, Co-Founder of Microsoft Corporation.
