On Monday, June 23rd, the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation was presented with the 2014 Easter Seals Leadership Award in the Brain Health Category. Foundation President & CEO, Jeffrey Borenstein, M.D., was on hand at the 2014 Easter Seals Advocacy Summit Awards Dinner in Washington, D.C. to receive the award on behalf of the organization. Also in attendance were Foundation Board member Anne E. Abramson and former Board member Sheila Rabaut.

Easter Seals Leadership Awards recognize exceptional partners, corporations, organizations, foundations and visionaries making a difference in Easter Seals’ key focus areas: brain health, veterans and healthy families. The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation won the award in the Brain Health category for their commitment to funding life-changing research and awarding grants that lead to advances in scientific research to reduce suffering caused by mental illness.
