2016 Research Highlights by Foundation Grantees
We are pleased to present you with the Top 10 Advancements and Breakthroughs by Brain & Behavior Research Foundation Grantees in 2016.
This Top 10 list illustrates some of the major research achievements of our grantees over the past year.
NARSAD Grants are one of the most vital supports for mental health research. The Foundation funds the most innovative ideas in neuroscience and psychiatry, selected by its 173-member all volunteer Scientific Council, to better understand the causes and develop new ways to treat brain and behavior disorders.
In 2016 we funded more than $19 million divided between approximately 400 Young Investigator Grantees, approximately 80 Independent Investigator Grantees, and 15 Distinguished Investigator Grantees who we expect will make exciting discoveries over the next few years.
