Our Funding Principles:
The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation is proud of the many partnerships developed to accelerate discoveries leading to better understanding, treatments and eventual cures for mental illness. We proudly publish all contributions above $1000 as well as all contributions for Memorials and Tributes in our Annual Report. To ensure transparency we make the full Report and our IRS Form 990 accessible on our web site. At least 95% of our annual funds are from individuals and family foundations. Contributions from pharmaceutical companies are accepted for educational programs and fund raising events only. The agreement to accept a corporate contribution does not carry with it an endorsement of products or services. All Brain & Behavior Research Foundation operating expenses are covered by two very generous family foundations.
