The third season of the award-winning public television series “Healthy Minds” launched in January/February 2013. The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation is a proud supporter of the program, which is hosted by Foundation President & CEO Jeffrey Borenstein, M.D. In 2013, “Healthy Minds” continued to offer insightful coverage of crucial mental health topics through in-depth interviews with leading experts in brain science and prominent voices in mental health advocacy. Included in the third season’s guest list were Nobel Prize winner Eric Kandel, M.D., former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Michael Mullen (U.S. Navy, Retired) and journalist Rita Cosby. Leaders affiliated with the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, including Scientific Council members Alan Shatzberg, M.D., Jeffrey Lieberman, M.D., Herbert Pardes, M.D. (Council Pres.), and Eric Kandel, M.D.; NARSAD Grantee Evelyn Attia, M.D.; Productive Lives Award Winners Alice Medalia, Ph.D. and the Hon.
