New Foundation-funded research about ADHD treatment includes:
- Identifying how genes influence how well children with ADHD pay attention in order to improve treatment outcomes
- Finding better drug and behavioral treatments for adults with ADHD who have mutations in their clock genes, which regulate sleep patterns
- Better understanding of how the neurotransmitter norepinephrine is regulated to find new targets to aid in the understanding and treatment of ADHD and other cognitive disorders
