I do not like the idea of erasing memories. I think we can provide someone with medications, like beta blockers, before entering a dangerous situation, to reduce the anxiety of going into battle, and once one has suffered PTSD there are various psychotherapeutic treatments that will reduce the anxiety associated with certain stimuli. But I think taking a memory out of the brain is a bad idea. You are who you are because of what you have learned and what you remember. Removing memories means changing the very nature of your being. I'm aganist it.
