Great studies... I spend my days treating PTSD soldiers and have an observation on vulnerability. It appears that an abnormally large # of soldiers with persistent, severe post-combat PTSD also have either (or both) developmental PTSD (childhood abuse) or eidetic memory abilities. I wonder if these are related to easier trauma triggered neurogenesis?
