Laura C. Wells, M.B.A., Vice President, Marketing and CommunicationsLaura C. Wells, M.B.A., joined the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (then known as NARSAD) in January, 2010 and leads development of communication and promotional materials at the Foundation. This includes all printed publications, the website and eNews, promotional materials for events and various other means of communicating with the Foundation’s donor community and external constituents.
 
Laura joined the Foundation after having spent fifteen years working for Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and abroad. She started her marketing career as an Assistant Brand Manager on M&M’s® and went on to manage brands such as Palmolive® personal care products in the French market, merchandise products at Disneyland® Paris and had global responsibility for brand development of Dove® body lotion. Laura sought to translate her corporate and business experience for benefit in the not-for-profit sector and found the perfect opportunity at the Foundation. Having personally experienced the pain, frustration and helplessness caused by mental illness in her family of origin, Laura brings not only business skills but also personal passion to the cause. She holds an International M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, cum laude from East Carolina University. She lived for nearly 7 years in France and is fluent in French and German.
