My Undergraduate Degree was in: Psychology, from: University of the Witwatersrand
My Graduate Degree was in: Psychiatric Genetics, from: University of Cape Town
My other degree is: MS, in neuropsychology
I currently work at: Laureate Institute for Brain Research
About My Work:
My field of study is: Depression - Neuroimaging of Mood Disorders
I enjoy this because: My research is not only intellectually interesting but hopefully may serve to help people who suffer from mood disorders.
I am currently working on: A functional imaging study testing responses to happy and sad faces in people with major depressive disorder (MDD) and their healthy relatives.
High-resolution structural imaging of people with mood disorders.
Measuring the frequency of GAD65 autoantibodies and insulin-resistance in people who have mood disorders. For more information, click here.
