The Saturday Evening Post features NARSAD Grantees’ breakthrough insight on link between maternal infection and mental illness

NARSAD Independent Investigator Grantee Alan S. Brown, MD, MPH and colleagues discover that maternal immune system reaction to infection can affect brain development in the unborn child. This finding may alter medical treatment guidelines for pregnant women.
