On October 29, 2010, NARSAD awarded six distinguished scientists for their Outstanding Achievements in mental health research. Dr. Robert C. Malenka from Stanford University received the Goldman-Rakic Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Cognitive Neuroscience. The award is named after Patricia Goldman-Rakic, Ph.D., a renowned neuroscientist.
